Light gate, semi-machine, resting place, public tool, urban additive (in the Kunstzell/ WUK courtyard)
An object serves passers-by as a “light shower”. Light sources in the object radiate through a thick string curtain to the outside, lending the object a mysterious aura that invites visitors to explore and interact with it. Special daylight lamps are installed on the inside, which are used for therapeutic purposes against some forms of depression. This public space is thereby transformed into a space of potentiality, where everyday activities are blended out for a short moment. Perceived by visitors as a minimalist light object, it functions as a “positivity” and can also be used as a time machine.
