Ernst Caramelle’s permanent installation opens at the Art Passage, Karlsplatz

Caramelle’s painting on the elongated side wall of the pedestrian passage spreads over eight fields, all of which are occupied by simple spatial constellations. Fields with frontal views and fields with perspectivally distorted views alternate. Depending on the direction you walk through the passage, this arrangement conveys the impression of individual parts of the wall swiveling out from the straight surface of the tunnel wall to obstruct the passer-by’s progress.

Umetnica je stvorila sopstvene simbole za hijerarhije, poretke i sisteme vrednosti. Moćni vladari, malčice podbočenii i sa rukama u džepovima, jasno stavljaju do znanja ko ima glavnu reč u scali naturae. Usamljena ženska figura – “bokserka” – koju Maderna takođe zove “pronalazačicom točka” odbija da se povinuje muškim strukturama moći, kako u instalaciji tako i u 3D animaciji.

“Nude men” go to Musée d’Orsay (September 24th ’13 – January 2nd ’14)

Olafur Eliasson “Sua fogueira cósmica” & “My little sun” u muzeju Lentos, Linz

„Tvoja kosmička logorska vatra” za Eliassona je tipična igra svetlosti koja se projektuje sredinom zidova sa malog „svetionika” postavljenog na sredini zamračene prostorije.
